1. Introduction
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the anti-slavery and human trafficking statement for FINE GUARD LTD (Company No. 16895564) for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.
FINE GUARD LTD is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains.
2. Our Business
FINE GUARD LTD operates FineGuard Pro, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform providing Companies House deadline monitoring and compliance alert services to UK businesses and accountancy practices.
We are a small technology company incorporated in England and Wales on 8 December 2025. Our registered office is at Lodges Wood Oast, Goodley Stock Road, Westerham, TN16 1TW, England.
Our workforce consists of technology professionals and our supply chain is limited to software infrastructure providers, cloud hosting services, and payment processing partners.
3. Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains are limited in scope and consist primarily of:
• Cloud infrastructure and hosting providers (UK and EU-based data centres)
• Payment processing services (Stripe, Inc. — regulated financial services provider)
• Software development tools and services
• Professional services (legal, accounting, and compliance advisors)
Given the nature of our business as a software company, we assess the risk of modern slavery in our supply chains to be low. Our principal suppliers are established, regulated technology and financial services companies operating in jurisdictions with strong labour protections.
4. Policies in Relation to Slavery and Human Trafficking
FINE GUARD LTD maintains the following policies to address the risk of modern slavery:
Supplier Due Diligence: We conduct due diligence on all new suppliers before engagement, including reviewing their modern slavery statements where applicable under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Ethical Procurement: We procure services only from suppliers who demonstrate a commitment to ethical business practices, fair wages, and safe working conditions.
Reporting Mechanism: Any employee, contractor, or third party who suspects modern slavery in our business or supply chains is encouraged to report concerns to [email protected]. All reports will be investigated promptly and in confidence.
5. Due Diligence Processes
We undertake the following due diligence processes to identify and address the risk of modern slavery:
• Reviewing the modern slavery statements of our key suppliers
• Assessing the risk profile of our supply chain on an annual basis
• Including anti-slavery and human trafficking provisions in our supplier contracts
• Monitoring compliance with these provisions
We have not identified any instances of modern slavery in our business or supply chains to date.
6. Risk Assessment and Management
We assess the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chains as low, based on the following factors:
• Our business is a technology company with no manufacturing, construction, or labour-intensive operations
• Our workforce is employed on fair terms in compliance with UK employment law
• Our principal suppliers are regulated entities in jurisdictions with strong human rights protections
• We do not operate in high-risk geographies or sectors identified by the Global Slavery Index
We will continue to monitor and review our risk assessment annually.
7. Key Performance Indicators
We measure our effectiveness in combating modern slavery through the following indicators:
• Zero instances of modern slavery identified in our business or supply chains
• 100% of new supplier contracts include anti-slavery provisions
• Annual review of this statement and our due diligence processes
• Prompt investigation of any concerns raised through our reporting mechanism
